"Diva Lisa's List" - Planning a Palm Springs Getaway
"The Food, The Vibe, The Scene. There is only one iconic Palm Springs, California. I call it my personal playground. There is so much to see and do! The possibilities are endless!"
Diva Lisa
I fell in love with Palm Springs over two decades ago. Great eats, places to see, and the iconic neighborhoods. It's magical! As a Desert Lifestyle Expert and Private Concierge, I have had the honor to create signature experiences and memories for people around the globe. There is something for everyone in this bustling destination city. I launched my business with a vision to help people to see and experience the best of Palm Springs.
When coming here for the first time or the tenth time, make a list of what matters the most to you when visiting. Often, people don't realize the desert stretches from Palm Springs to additional resort cities such as Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Joshua Tree and Indio California. It's about finding your space and place to create the ultimate Palm Springs adventure. Don't forget to schedule your pool time swssions. Beautiful Palm Trees and Mountains grace the valleys perimeter. A beverage and a bite by the pool...That would be a Yes!!
Here are my must haves for planning a memorable trip to Palm Springs:
Plan your Stay in Advance - October through May is considered "high season". Getting a place to stay or even dining becomes a challenge. I recommend planning your stay 4-6 months in advance. High demand events such as BNP Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells, Modernism Week, Coachella, The Palm Springs Film Festival and Stagecoach all require advance planning.
Plan your Activities, Excursions, and Dining in Advance - I have met many people who didn't have someone like me planning their entire itinerary while visiting. I handle all the details in order to create a leisurely and hassle free stay. It's about knowing where to go for sure in the desert. I recommend booking dining, tours, and must see activities like the Palm Springs Ariel Tram and The Living Desert in advance.
Arriving in Palm Springs can be a breeze or a challenge. If you're flying in from out of state, make sure to understand which airlines offer service to Palm Springs directly. If you can't connect directly. I highly recommend a connecting flight rather than a possible 2-3 hour journey from larger airports. If you need assistance, I have more information on my site Http/Divalisacole.com. Palm Springs International Airport is one of the easiest airports to navigate. LOVE!
Getting around by rental car, rideshare or hiring a Private Concierge like myself should be factored into your stay. If you're planning to stay downtown Palm Springs only, it's very easy to navigate. However, if you plan to go and see different parts of the city, you will need transportation. It's about maximizing your time, enjoying your stay.
If you're on business while visiting Palm Springs, try to book an excursion or plan an evening to see Palm Springs or the surrounding areas including Joshua Tree. I provide customized experiences for business and leisure travelers. It allows my clients to attend a conference or event, and have a personalized experience in the evening.
Palm Springs continues to grow with visitors yearly. It's my hopes you will book a stay. Feel free to contact me for details on making your trip signature and memorable
